| Amorett, the
daughter of Solomon & Eliza (Smith) Wait, was
married to Ruben Breeden in St. Clair Co.,
Missouri on 05 May 1871. Ruben was the son of Job
& Sarah E. (Brackney) Breeden. Amorett and Ruben were the
parents of eleven children: John H.; Charles;
Elizabeth who married John Sortore; Robert,
Lucille who married John Barton; Etta who was the
wife of Benjamin Killebrew; Thomas; Ruie who
married Frederick McCarty; Burley; Martha who
married John D. Coats; and Elijah Breeden.
Amorett died in
Rosenburg, Fort Bend, Texas in about 1898. Ruben
died on 10 Mar 1915 in Claremore, Rogers Co.,
Oklahoma. His inscription at Sandridge Cemetery
reads: "This man lived well and loved hier,
And those he loved in life, In death are
near."
