T.A. Moore, standing on the far left of the Hayes Family, built this home after the war in about 1870. It was here that his son James (1874) and daughter Mabel (1877) were born.

The connection to the Hayes family is not known. The man standing on the far right is noted as "Si Thomyeson."

Tom, his sons and other family members worked as carpenters often specializing in "store and office fitting." Many of his business cards, in no particular order, are as follows:
