The daughter of James G.
Spier and Elizabeth A. (Hayes), Minnie was born
in Illinois in 1859 and died there in 1939. She
and her family resided in Peoria where she became
a music teacher and according to the city
directory, was residing at 208 Hamilton in 1890
and 1891.
