| Born in October of 1850 to
parents who were, according to the census
records, also born in New York. She
married Daniel R. Knowlton in 1870 or
1871 and had by him a son, Edward R.
Knowlton, who was born on the 16th of
October, 1871. A few years later the
family moved from New York to St.
Augustine, Florida where Daniel worked in
the saw mills and later created
"novelty wood work." By 1905 Daniel and
Carrie returned to New York where they
were enumerated in the State Census
residing in the city of Schenectady where
Daniel was then engaged in real estate.
No date or
place of burial for Carrie or Daniel is
known.
