BORN: 08 May 1862 in Saratoga, Winona County, MN
Attended istrict schools and the State Normal School at Winona. He learned telegraphy and entered the railroad service where he was an agent and operator for the C.M. & St. P for twenty years. He was elected cashier of the Bank of Browndale and allied himself with the Masons and the A.O.U.W.

His wife preceded him in death on 13 Aug 1946.
 
BURIED: Probably at Green Acres Cemetery where his wife was laid to rest.
