Pension records indicate he was married here by
John Morse, Justice of the Peace. |

DIED: 17 August 1864, Andersonville,
Sumter Co., GA
During the
Civil War he was taken prisoner about ten months
after his enlistment at Brice's Crossroad in
Mississippi and subsequently taken to the
infamous Andersonville Prison where he died. |
