Ship in which Armando Laratta
had taken to come to the United States to remain.
It arrived in the New York port on May 3rd of
1920 having departed from Naples, Campania,
Italy. The ship manifest seems to indicate that
Armando may have also come to the U.S. in 1904,
and mentions his 1914 arrival in the U.S.
The ship Canada, was built
for Fabre Line in 1911, flying the French flag
and traveled the Mediterranean to New York It was
used as a hospital ship during World War II and
was retired from service in 1952.
