| Moses
T Tallman, born in Tully on 26 March 1812, was
the son of Easton and Sabra (Tuttle) Tallman. He
married Jerusha Peters (see her information on
the previous page) and was the father of Sarah E.
Tallman, who became the wife of David O Crofoot,
also shown on these pages. About the photographer, M G
Bennett of Tully, NY, does not appear in Craig’s Daguerreian
Registry,
nor has a search of Cortland County history and
genealogy sites found any mention of him. It is
interesting, though probably not significant,
that the back of Moses' picture is not the same
as the back of his wife, Jerusha's.
