of Mont & Lizzie who were married in St.
Louis, Missouri on April 20th, 1863.
Their
first child, Francis "Frank" Pilcher
was born on 04 April 1864 and a few months later
"Mont" enlisted with the 40th Missouri
Infantry and served just about a year in the War
Of the Rebellion. He was mustered out in August
of 1865 just about one year and three months
before their next child was born.
Second
child was named for his father and was born 11
November 1866, but did not not survive to full
adulthood. Their third child, Emma, was born in
St. Louis, Missouri on July 1st 1869 and later
married Albert Hoge.
Mont
and Lizzie's other children were: Alexander born
about 1871; Harry born November 1873, Marietta
"Etta" born September 1880; and Eugene
who was born on January 31st 1883.
