Eldest
daughter of "Mont" and Lizzie Pilcher,
Emma was born on July 1st 1869 in St. Louis,
Missouri. Her two older brothers were Francis
"Frank" born in 1864 and Richard M.
born in 1866; and her younger siblings were
Alexander born in 1871, Harry born in 1873,
Marietta born in 1880, and Eugene born in 1883.
Emma
married Albert J. Hoge in about 1896 in St.
Louis. Albert was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas
and was the son of Dr. James M. Hoge. He and Emma
were the parents of two children, Helen and
Lawrence Hoge.
