Daughter of Daniel Peters
& Elizabeth (Jerome), Cornelia was born 27
July 1818 in Harpersfield, Delaware Co., New York
and was the twin of Adelia. On 21 Nov 1838, she
married Archibald McLean, the son of Charles and
Jane (Grant). Archibald was born in Stamford on
17 May 1813. Their first five children, (Jane
Elizabeth, Mary Fraser, Charles, Cornelia,
Adelia) were born in Delaware Co., New York where
the family was enumerated in the 1850 census.
Daughter
Eva Louise was born in Penfield, Lorain Co., Ohio
in 1855, followed by Emma Theodosia in 1861. The
family was recorded in the census records
residing in Penfield in 1860, 1870, and 1880.
Cornelia
passed away on 11 Jan 1893, and Archibald on 30
Jun 1903. They were laid to rest at Penfield
Cemetery.
