William P. Vrooman (Catherine Caty Plank, Amy Peters, James, Richard) was born about 1839/1840 in New York. He was enumerated in the following census records: 1850 and 1860 residing in Ephratah, Fulton Co., New York; and the 1880 living in Johnstown, Fulton Co., New York. Their only known child is Margaret, born about 1867.

William married Amanda Stewart who was born about 1845 in New York. Her mother Margaret, age 57, and her sister Sarah J., a 39 year-old school teacher, are also listed in the 1880 census.
 
 
Nelson Vrooman (Catherine Caty Plank, Amy Peters, James, Richard) was born on 21 Jun 1845 in Marshall, Calhoun, MI. He had been enumerated in the 1850 and 1860 census residing in Ephratah, Fulton Co, New York, and in 1880 living in Johnstown, Fulton Co., New York. He married Mary Mullins on 08 Apr 1867. Mary was born 28 May 1847 in New York City, NY and died 09 Dec 1919 in Johnstown. A glove manufacturer, Nelson died on 02 Nov 1897 in Danville, New York.
