Born
in Harrison Co., Ohio on the 22nd of June, Ike
removed from Ohio with his family and headed west
to Illinois where his Uncle Joseph Moore was
manufacturing cowbells. There his father worked
with his uncle and Ike attended school where they
lived in Collinsville.
In
1860 it appears that he was listed as a tinner
living in St. Louis. Ten years later on 22 Mar
1870 he married Abbie A. Malone in St. Louis.
Sometime after 1877 they moved to Greenville,
Bond Co., Illinois with their children - Lulu,
Ellen C. and Orville where they were enumerated
in the 1880 census.
Abbie
died in Oakland, California in about 1918 and
Isaac died there on 25 January 1933.
