Old House" was built by Thomas A. Moore
after the Civil War and is where his wife
Clarissa (Pilcher) died in April of 1890. This photo is dated 1899,
and on it is written: Tennyson's "The old
house." Possible reference to Tennyson's
poem, The Deserted House.
