According to the census records, Edward was born
in about 1863. His father was Samuel Prather
Lewman, born in 1834 and married to Ann Eliza
(Holman), daughter of Andrew and Lavina (Bowen),
on April 30th, 1860, in Clark County, Indiana.Edward's siblings
were: Alice also known as Ella, Milas, Nora,
Jessie, Theodocia, and Benjamin Lewman.
