Clifton Park, Saratoga Co., New York,
Lucretia was married to her cousin, John
E. Knowlton, son of Robert and Sally
(Brown) in about 1836. A blacksmith in
Rexford Flats, Saratoga Co., New York,
John then moved the family to Bethlehem,
Albany Co., New York where they remained
until 1875. The family then removed to
St. Augustine, St. Johns Co., Florida
where he died 05 Aug 1877, and Lucrectia
on 27 Aug 1894.
John and
Lucretia were the parents of: Alonzo, who
married Elizabeth W. Norris, the daughter
of Henry B. and Polly (Curtis); Daniel,
who married Caroline (Smith); and George,
who married Mary J. Winter.
They were
both laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery
in St. Augustine, Florida.
