John Kerr was
born in Minto Township, Wellington
Co., Ontario in 1856 and was the son
of Robert Kerr and Margaret
(Arbuckle) of Scotland. He married
Jessie Dryden on 23 Dec 1885, she
being the daughter of Walter K.
Dryden and Charlotte (Green).
On 21 Mar 1895, John was
killed in a tragic logging accident
when he was clearing land. He was
laid to rest at Harriston Cemetery.
