HOLMAN
Isaac Holman, the son of Isaac and Mary (Benton), was born on 20 Mar 1757 in North Carolina. He married Lillis Mitchell on 09 Sep 1804 in North Carolina, she having been born on 25 Dec 1775 in North Carolina. She may have been born a Nichols, previously married to a Nichols as Rowan Co., NC marriage records by B. Holcomb 1753-1868, list her name Nichols.

Isaac died on died on 05 Apr 1843 in Clark Co., Indiana, and in 1850 Lillis was listed in her son Andrew's household in 1850 as age 74 born in North Carolina; and in his household in 1860 as age eight-four. She died on 10 Dec 1866 in Clark Co., Indiana and both she and Isaac were buried in New Chapel Cemetery.

GENERATION II
Andrew Mitchell Holman, son of Isaac and Lillis, was born on 04 Oct 1810 in Indiana. He married Lavina Bowen on 19 Feb 1834 in Clark Co., Indiana. Lavina was born on 30 Sep 1814 in Indiana.

They were enumerated in the 1850 and 1860 census records residing in Utica Twp., Clark County, Indiana. Andrew died on 05 Mar 1863, and Lavina on 31 Jan 1875. they were both ladid to rest in New Chapel Cemetery, Utica Twp., Clark County, Indiana.

Isaac N. Holman, son of Andrew and Lavina, was born on 27 Dec 1834 in Clark Co., Indiana. He was enumerated with his parents in 1850, residing in Utica Twp., Clark Co., Indiana, and also located in the 1880 and 1900 census residing in the same township.

He married Julia Ann Poillon daughter of Alexander Poillon and Harriet Middlecalf on 09 Nov 1856 in Clark Co., Indiana. Julia was born in July of 1835 in Indiana. In 1900, her grandmother, Harriet S. Pollion, is listed in the 1900 household with her. Five years later, Isaac passed away on the 27th of August 1905.

Ann Eliza Holman, daughter of Andrew and Lavina, was born on 26 Mar 1837 in Indiana. She married Samuel Prather Lewman, son of Milas Lewman and Nancy (Prather), on 03 Apr 1860 in Clark Co., Indiana. Samuel was born on 30 Jul 1834 in Indiana and was enumerated in the census records from 1850 to 1900 as residing in Utica Township. Samuel died on 26 Jul 1907 and Anna on 02 Mar 1919.

She married James Beverly James, son of William James and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Daily) in 1901 in Charlestown, Clark Co, Indiana. James was born on 13 Aug 1875 in Charlestown, and died there on 28 Mar 1955. They were the parents of David Lewman James who married Anna Barnwell Farmer on 23 Jan 1931 in Charlestown. Anna was born on 26 Jan 1910 in Beattyville, Lee Co. Kentucky and passed away on 12 Jun 1963 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky. David passed away on 08 Feb 1967 in Clark Co., Indiana.
