| Born in New York on 22 May
1871, William was the son of Benjamin Herkimer
Hickok and Rosella (Jones). As seen here, William
was a railroad conductor on the Ulster and
Delaware Railroad. He had met his wife, Sarah
Peters, while boarding at the home of her
parents, William Blakely Peters and Hannah (Rich)
in Bloomville. Sarah Peters and William
Hickok were married in Bloomville, Delaware Co.,
New York on 22 Apr 1896. They were the parents of
Hannah, Howard and Benjamin Blakely Hickok.
William
died in Oneonta, Otsego Co., New York on 30 Jan
1937.
