| The
daughter of John and Cinthia (Moore),
Barbara, who is seated center, was born in
Tuscarawas Co., Ohio on 12 Feb1857. She was
eight years old when the family removed to
Naples in Scott County, Illinois. On 23 May
1895, Barbara married Rev. Nathan V. Moore in
Yates Center, Woodson Co., Kansas. No
children were born to this union. She died 20
Aug 1898 in Moran, Woodson Co., Kansas. It is speculated that
seated to her left is her sister Sabilla, who
was born in 13 Aug 1852 and married Oliver
Jasper West; and seated to her right her
sister Ida who was born 13 Jun 1861, and
became the wife of Thaddeus Horton in 1880.
