was the daughter of William Gold & Mary
(Davidson). According to the Old Parochial
Records of Scotland, her parents were married
in Aberlemno on the 17th of June 1864.
The back of this photo
reads: "To Uncle Joseph with love from
niece Mary Gold." The Photo was taken in
Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa.
