| John Albert
Fenton was born in March of 1863 at Crimble Hall,
Bamford, England. According to the 1920 census
records, his parents immigrated to the U.S. in
1882. In about 1891 he married Clarissa Amanda
Moore in St. Louis. Clarissa was the daughter of Thomas
A. Moore & Clarissa V. (Pilcher). She was
born in St. Louis on 28 Oct 1870. She was the
mother of James A. who married Addie Suggs;
Cynthia Lillian, who married Clarence Suggs;
Emerson, who was born in Jul 1899 and died in his
infancy sometime after Jun 1900; and Ralph who
died as a child.
Clarissa Amanda
died in 1916 and was laid to rest at Calvary
Cemetery in St. Louis. Her husband John died 14
Jun 1933 in St. Louis and according to his death
certificate, was buried at City Cemetery in
Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
