Ruben & Tom Breeden in Oklahoma

Ruben, standing left, and Thomas "T.A." Breeden standing right, are photographed here in Rogers Co., Oklahoma.

Born in Virgina, Ruben moved to Missouri sometime before 1860. After living in Cooper and St. Clair counties, he moved for a short time to Fort Bend Co, Texas where his wife Amorett (Wait) died in 1898. After her death, he returned to St. Clair Co., Missouri and married his brother Samuel's widow, Elizabeth Dean Breeden, in 1900. The marriage, however, did not last and in 1900 or 1901, Ruben moved with some of his children to Oklahoma where he lived the remainder of his life. He died on 10 Mar 1915 in Claremore, Rogers Co., Oklahoma and was laid to rest at the Sandridge Cemetery.

His son, "T.A." (Thomas Albert), was born in 1884 while the family lived in Tiffin, St. Clair Co., Missouri. He later removed to Montana, and then to Lane Co., Oregon. He passed away in Eugene, Lane Co., Oregon on 03 May 1971 and was laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
