Danforth" shown in above photo is Eunice
Matilda (Short) born in Macoupin Co., IL in
1859; daughter of Martin Short and Matilda
(Norman) formerly of Eastern Canada.
"Grandpa
Danforth" is Albro Benvard Danforth who
married Eunice in Saratoga Twp., Minnesota in
1875. Albro patented land in Barnes County,
ND in November of 1890, and this photo was
probably taken in 1902 about five years
before they left North Dakota and went to
Taber, Alberta, Canada.
