The son of Albro B.
Danforth and Eunice (Short), Harry Martin
Danforth was born 29 Mar 1888 in Barnes
County, North Dakota. In 1906 Harry, along
with his father and brother George, went to
Taber, Alberta and bought a half section of
land south of Purple Springs.
In
November of 1917 Harry was united in marriage
with Daisy Rorabeck who was born in Ontario
on 29 Dec 1900. The couple became the parents
of Florence, Henry, Dean and Lester who
passed away at the age of two.
Harry
passed away at the age 49 years, 7 months and
29 days and was laid to rest at Taber

kept busy over the years knitting items she
donated to the church bazaar and enjoyed
growing a vegetable garden with lots of
flowers, especially begonias. She blamed her
longevity and excellent health on walking.
At
the age of eighty she married Carol Roloff
who had been a friend and neighbor, but was
widowed a third time. She lived alone until
it was discovered she had Alzheimer's at
which time she went to live at the Lynnwood
Nursing Home in Edmonton. She passed away at
