This family of John was followed in the census records from 1850 residing in Monroe Twp., Clark Co., Indiana to Atchison Co., Missouri. All of Jacob's children from his marriage to Thie (Praim) and Isabelle (Barker) appear to be listed in the land sale recorded in Deed Book 41; Page 536, dated 26 Sep 1851. It lists the heirs of Jacob Daily who sold land and signed as: Joseph A. Lutz and Mary Ann (Daily) Lutz, (married 1839); Charles Mahan and Elizabeth (Daily) Mahan (married 1846); Philip Daily who did not marry Susan Minerva Hawn until 1852; Anderson Ross and Mahala (Daily) Ross (married 1830); Isabel Daily (widow of Jacob who died in 1832; and Jacob Daily and Jane (Beckett) Daily (married 1834).
