Note: Name also typically spelled Warfel. The enumertor's notation on young Evaline appears to have listed her as having died on June 11th and that she was aged ten months. Lucinda's eldest daughter, Mary E., might have been from a previous unknown marriage. She appears to have been listed in the household of her grandparents Samuel and Mary (Ballard) Lundy in 1850 in Hillsville, Carroll Co., VA. She seems too young to have been their child, and Lucinda herself was listed in the houshold, aged 25.

According to the History of Kentucky - Early Taverns & Travelers in Central Kentucky, Robert Megowan had opened the second tavern/inn in Lexington which was known as the "Sheaf of Wheat."
Also note that Nancy's name is sometimes spelled Pew, but in the Ballard & Pilcher relations, the family who married Anna Davis, daughter of John and Hannah B. (Anthony), spelled the name Pugh, and it is speculated Nancy's name was also spelled as such.
