MARY ANN (DAILY) LUTZ
1818 - 1868 |
| The daughter of
Jacob and his first wife, Thei Praim,
Mary Ann was born in Clark Co., Indiana
on 11 Jul 1818. she married Joseph A.
Lutz in that county on 07 Feb 1839 and
was the mother of nine children:
Cinderella, wife of Jacob Robinson;
George; Mary E.; Arabel; Henry; Sarah;
Joseph; Columbus; and Eleanora Lutz. Mary Ann
died at the age of fifty years, four
months and four days. Her husband's death
followed a year later in 1869.

JOSEPH A. LUTZ
1816 - 1869 |
| Born in Indiana on
16 Feb 1816, Joseph is believed to be the
son of Philip Henry Lutz who was born in
Lincoln Co., North Carolina in about 1777
and died in Clark Co., Indiana when
Joseph was about ten years old. On
February 7, 1839 he was united in
marriage to Mary Ann (Daily), the
daughter of Jacob and his first wife Thei
Praim. She died on 15 Nov 1868 and he
died a year later on 01 Dec 1869 at the
age of fifty-three years, nine months,
and fifteen days.

COLUMBUS LUTZ
1857 - 1876 |
| The youngest son
of Joseph A. Lutz and Mary Ann (Daily),
Columbus was born in Clark Co., Indiana
on 28 Jul 1857. He was enumerated in the
1860 & 1870 census records residing
in Utica Twp. By 1870, Columbus was
orphaned - his mother dying in 1868 and
his father in 1869. Columbus
died just a couple weeks before his
nineteenth birthday.
