Cordelia was the wife of William H.
Terpening whom she married sometime
before 1852 when their daughter Lydia was
born. The mother of at least
Lydia, Eva, and John, Cordelia died in
1917. Her husband had preceded her in
death, passing on 25 Feb 1888 in Warren
Co., Illinois. He is laid to rest in the
Terpening Cemetery in Kelly Township.
