| Nathan, son of Richard and
"Sally" (Peck), was born in
Saratoga Co., New York on 03 Jan 1821. He
married Eliza Vanderwerken, the daughter
of Albert and Maria (Devoe) on 11 Mar
1838. The family first moved to
Monmouth, Warren Col, Illinois in 1840
and then to Smithton in 1867. Nathan died
of Small Pox on 15 Dec 1869 at the age of
48 years, 11 months and 12 days as noted
on his headstone.
Eliza's
death followed on 23 Sep 1870 at the age
of fifty-one. They were the parents of
Abijah who died in his infancy, William
A. who married Mary C. Gallup, and Ella
J. Smith.

| RYAN RICHARD SMITH
& SARAH E. (DULABAN) |
| Son of Samuel and Cornelia
(Buck), Ryan was born 17 Jun 1850 in
Warren Co., Illinois. He married Sarah E.
Dulaban, daughter of Nelson and Catherine
in Pettis Co., Missouri on 08 Mar 1874. Ryan died at the
age of forty-six on 29 Jun 1896, his wife
preceding him two months and eighteen
days earlier on 11 Apr 1896.

| ROLAND A. SMITH &
HARRIET E. (DULABAN) |
| The son of Samuel and
Cornelia (Buck), Roland was born 04 Mar
1852 in Gerlaw, Warren Co., Illinois. He
married Harriet "Hattie"
Dulaban, daughter of Nelson and Catherine
and sister of Sarah in Smithton on 10 Jan
1878. Roland died at the age of
eighty-nine leaving behind his widow who
passed on 19 Jul 1946.

(Dulaban), little Alvey was born on 15
Nov 1880 and as stated on his headstone,
was "aged eight days" when he
died on 23 Nov 1880. |

SETH BUCK SMITH &
LACIE M. (VARNER)
| The son of Samuel and
Cornelia (Buck), Seth was born in
Jonesboro, Illinois on 03 Sep 1860. He
married Lacie Varner, daughter of Charles
and Sarah J. (Barnes) in about 1896 or
1897. The couple resided in Sedalia,
where Seth passed away on 25 Jan 1949.
Lacie survived him another fourteen
years, passing on 27 Mar 1963. |
