The son of Albro B. and Eunice (Short) Danforth, Robert was born 02 Nov 1893. He married Avis Sherburne, the daughter of Wilfred Charles & Frances Ann (Owen) in 1913 and were the parents of Erma, Guy, Owen, Earl, and a daughter who died in infancy.

Robert passed away on 16 Oct 1979 in Black Diamond, Alberta and his wife Avis on 07 Mar 1975.
