| The daughter of Horace J.
Breningstall and Henrietta "Elizabeth"
(Main), Susie was born in Petersburg, Monroe Co.,
Michigan on 18 Nov 1873. She married James S.
Housman in that place on 14 Nov 1892 just a few
days before her 19th birthday. She lived her
entire life in the village of Petersburg and was
the mother of four children: Hazel, born in 1893
and wife of James Clark; Bina Leola who was born
in 1894 and married Harry W. Jackson, later
residing in Miami, Floriada; James D. Housman,
born in 1896 and husband of Leda E. (Schmid); and
Idella Housman born in 1900 and wife of George
Holmer.
Susan
died at her home at the age of 33 years, 8 months
and 3 days on Sunday, July 21, 1907, and was laid
to rest in Petersburg Cemetery.
