 Robert Henry Breeden was
born 02 Feb 1878 in Tiffin, St. Clair Co.,
Missouri to Amorett (Wait) and Ruben Breeden.
Just barely twenty when he took Stella Anne
Barton for his wife, she being but sixteen and
daughter of William and Sarah (Fye).The young couple was
married in Richmond, Fort Bend Co., Texas on 10
Mar 1898 - the same year Robert's mother had
died. By 1900 they were living on the Choctaw
Indian Nation with their daughter Sarah who was
born on 25 Apr 1899 in Claremore. The couple also
had two sons: William Lee born in 1902 and
Orville Marian born in 1904.
Robert's wife died
at the young age of 24 in Collinsville, St. Clair
Co., Oklahoma on 22 Feb 1906 and he married (2)
Grace Myra Barker Cowan on 25 Aug 1920 in
Phillips Co., Utah. He died on 15 Sep 1945 at
Harlem, Blaine Co., Montana.
