| Etta Ellen,
daughter of Ruben & Amorett (Wait), was born
on 28 Apr 1882 in Oyer, St. Clair Co., Missouri.
She married William Benjamin Killebrew, the son
of Moses and Charlotte (Hubbard) on 19 Oct 1900
in Osceola, St. Clair Co., Missouri. William was
born on 01 Nov 1879 in Little Rock, Arkansas and
worked as a blacksmith. The couple had a set of twins in
1901 which died in infancy, followed by eleven
children. By 1910 the family, as well as Etta's
father, were living in Rogers Co., Oklahoma. In
1920 the family had returned to St. Clair Co.,
Missouri and were living on Oyer Road.
Etta, who worked
as a switchboard operator, died at the age of 64
o 28 Jul 1945 in Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska.
Her husband passed away at the age of
seventy-nine on 06 Nov 1958 near Omaha and both
were laid to rest at Humboldt Cemetery in
Richardson Co., Nebraska.
