Taken not long after
the birth of Mollie who was born 30 May 1888
in Richwood, Minnesota. Mary (Mollie) was the
oldest of Harriet and Daniel's three
children. She married Alexander
"Sandy" McKinnon Banting on 01
January 1914 and were the parents of Frances
Mary, James Daniel, Harriet Katherin, and
Charles John Wesley Banting of Richlea,
Saskatchewan.
Mollie's
mother Harriet was the daughter of Benjamin
H. Chapman and wife Mary of Ireland, and her
father was Daniel McNiven Arbuckle, son of
Robert Arbuckle & Jean (McNiven) of
Carmunnock, Scotland. - Mollie had two
younger brothers - Raymond Cecil & Floyd Walter Arbuckle.
