Floyd Walter Arbuckle, son of
Daniel McNiven Arbuckle and Harriet Chapman,
was born 07 March 1902 in Deer Creek, Otter
Tail, Minnesota. He married (1) Nettie Leigh
Thompson; (2) Marion Head; and (3) Joan
Brummel. Floyd was the father of two children
by each of his wives. In order of their ages:
Ray Floyd, Effie Norine, Vicky Lynn, Georgia
Lee, Gary Floyd, and Jo-Ann Arbuckle.
Floyd's
parents were Daniel McNiven Arbuckle who was
born in Minto, Wellington County, Ontario,
Canada in 1855 and was the son of Scottish
parents; and Harriet Chapman who was born in
Wisconsin in 1860 and was the daughter of
Benjamin and Mary of Irleand. - Floyd was
their youngest son, his brother Raymond almost nine and a half years
his senior and his sister Mollie born nearly fourteen years
earlier in 1888.
