While the greater
portion of Aberlemno is part hilly and
covered with heath, the majority of it is
flat and fertile as seen in the above
photos. Situated in the County of
Angus/Forfar, Aberlemno is mostly flat
and fertile, and covered with heath but
in some places, such as where the church
is located, the road is rather steep. No
doubt this made for a difficult trek with
the horse and cart but was loved by the
children in the winter.
