U.S Federal Census Extractions (1900)

The 1910 census record includes the names of every person in the household; relationship to head of family; age; sex; color or race; marital status; number of years of present marriage; number of children born; number of children now living; birthplace; mother tongue; birthplace of father and mother; mother tongue of parentsr; year of immigration to the U.S.; whether an alien or naturalized; whether able to speak English, and if not, language spoken; trade or profession; industry; whether employer, employee, or working on own account; if out of work, unalbe to read or write, attended school, owned home or rented, lived in farm or house, whether person was a survivor of the Union or Confederate Army or Navy; and whether blind or deaf and dumb.
A note from Patti: Census records included on this web site contain corrections to obvious errors and may also include surnames of married women when known. These extractions are not intended as an exact transcription of the actual census, but as a tool to provide more accurate information for genealogical research. I have taken caution with these additions and/or corrections and done so only in a case where other records indicate there was an obvious error.

Using Ctrl + F to locate a specific name, or using the optional page in which I've listed the surnames extracted for each year, county and state, would produce better results. Also, if you've come to this site via a search engine, I suggest you check the home page for a specific family as I've included several narratives of many of the early families of Clark County, Indiana and their descendants.

If you have questions, comments or corrections, please feel free to email me. Thanks!
