Vermont
Washington County
Known as Jefferson Until December 1814
Created 1810 from Addison, Calendonia, Orleans & Orange Counties

This Nathan appears to be too young to be Marianne's father unless he was born as late as 1790. This Nathan might possibly be a brother? Also, if the Nathan Morse listed in the Illinois bounty lands of 1812 was killed and heir was A. Morse, could be that the older children were living together, Nathan Jr. a head of household with the younger children his and his wife's.
