Children of Nathaniel and Sarah Willson were:(116) (117) In the Revolutionary War, on the list of soldiers who marched to Cambridge in answer to the alarm of 19 April 1775, was Nathaniel Wilson, son of Nathaniel Wilson, Jr. He served under the cammand of Capt. Ebenezer Mason (Company of Minutemen), in Col. Jonathan Warner's Regiment. He purchased part of Lot 51 in Old Spencer sometime after 1764. An affidavit prepared by Edward Dyer, Town Clerk of Spencer in February 1856, he states town records indicate Nathaniel was chosen a surveyor of highways at a town meeting on 10 March 1783. He was age 78 when he died.
viii. Jesse WILLSON (91)was born on 10 Dec 1757 in Leicester, Worcester Co., MA. Jesse had Revolutionary War service in 1777 from both Leicester and Spencer. He participated in the Battle of Bennington. On 6 April 1787, Jesse Wilson of Leicester purchased 40 acres from his brother-in-law, Dr. Jabez Lamb. He sold the land the following year obtaining a 25% profit.
