HENRY RIGHT STRICKLAND I, H.R. Strickland, of the County of Johnston, State of North Carolina, being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this, my last will and testament in manner and form following: It is my will that I give, devise, and bequeath to my beloved sons and daughters, JULIUS W. STRICKLAND, BYTHAN E. STRICKLAND, ARONE BARBER, DELIA STRICKLAND, SALLIE ANN CRUCH, ELINDER RIGHT BARBER AND OFILIA ABIRTA MOORE , the tracts of land which they now hold deeds for and to their heirs and assigns forever; I give and devise to my beloved daughter, DELIA STRICKLAND two feather beds and two bedsteads and the bed clothing that belongs to the said two beds and one cow and one hog; I give and devise to my beloved daughter, ELINDER RIGHT BARBIR , one feather bed and one bedstead and bed clothing that belongs to said bed and cow and calf and five head of hogs. I give and devise to my beloved wife , Annie Strickland , the balance of my land situated in Engrams Township, Johnston County, North Carolina, line beginning at a lightwood stake in B.E. Strickland line and runs about North the old line to the creek; thence up the creek old line as grant calls for said line to the run of Spring Branch; thence up Spring branch to a lightwood stake in Delia Strickland corner; thence about east with Delia Strickland line to the beginning. Containing sixty-five acres more or less, during her natural life and at the death of my said wife, ANNIE STRICKLAND , I give, devise unto my four beloved elder daughters, MARY ELINDER BARBER, MAZURA ANN ELIZABETH DURHAM, WILLIE SARAH JOHNSON and SALIER LOUVENIA EVANS , the above sixty-five acres of land to be equally divided between the above four children, their heirs and assigns forever. I give and devise to my beloved wife, ANNIE STRICKLAND , the balance of my livestock, one mule, cattle, hogs, sheep and also all the household and kitchen furniture and other items not particularly named and otherwise disposed of in this, my will, during her natural life and at the death of said wife, all the personal property hereby devised or bequeathed to her as aforesaid to be sold and the money equally divided between my bodily heirs; And last & hereby contstitute and appoint A.D.
