New Netherland Connections

 

Perry Streeter, "Brothers Peter and Jacobus Williamson of Greenwich Township, Warren County, New Jersey: Did They Descend from Willem1 Willemsen, Willem1 Davidszen [Williamson] or Someone Else?" New Netherland Connections (July, August, September 2000; Volume 5, Number 3).  Subsequently, through DNA testing, Perry was able to prove that Peter and Jacob were grandsons of Willem2 Willemsen (Willem1 Gerritsen) and Mayken2 Pieters Wyckoff (Pieter1 Claesen) of Gravesend, Kings County; these findings have been published in a series on "The Williamson Family of Gravesend," in The New York Genealogical and Biographical Record.
