New Netherland Connections |
by Dorothy
A. Koenig, Editor
I
began New Netherland Connections in February 1996. It is a quarterly—published in February, May,
August, and November—designed to help people who are looking for their New
Netherland ancestors and their descendants.
Each
issue has a feature article, replies to queries, items of Dutch colonial
interest, and queries (of any length) and runs to about 28 pages. I am happy to
send one sample copy to any interested party who wants to see what New
Netherland Connections is like. If
you would like to have a sample, please email your postal address to dkoenig@lmi.net.
The
cost of a subscription is $20.00 (U.S.) per calendar year. If you wish to subscribe, please send your
check in the amount of $20.00 to me at:
1232 Carlotta Avenue
Berkeley, CA 94707-2707
All
past issues are available at $20.00 per annual volume or $5.00 per single
issue, starting in 1996.
Every-name
indexes per volume are available as well. During its first three years of
publication over 5,000 names related to Dutch colonial ancestors appeared in
the pages of NNC. The indexes
cost $6.00 each.
If you
are interested in the contents and do not want to subscribe, complimentary
subscriptions have been sent to some major genealogical libraries. The Family
History Library in Salt Lake City has begun filming NNC and issues
through 2003 are already available through your local Family
History Center as follows:
