International Genealogical Index (IGI) & Parish Registers (PR's) - Unconnected Stratfull'sNone of the following can be connected in to the Stratfull / Stratful family. It appears that the Stratfull / Stratful names had been used in earlier times, as recorded in these extracts from the IGI & PR's. The earliest Stratfull recorded is at the marriage of Baldwin Stratfull on 2 May 1657; the earliest Stratful recorded is at the marriage of Eliz. Stratful on 2 October 1656. As none of these have been connected so far, it is fairly safe to assume that they were odd miss-spellings. Perhaps they were also known by the other variants (Stratford, Stratfold, Stratfield) or perhaps they were lines that simply died out. Then again, given the proximity to our own ancestors in the Bucks. / Herts. border area perhaps most of them were related - we may never know ! But, let's keep trying to place them all in the puzzle that is genealogy ! Do note that there are variants here that have not been seen elsewhere - Strattfull, Stratfall and Stratfill.
