I note that Annie Horwood married James Henry Nutter.
Any details of what happened to them after they married?
His brother Albert was my great, great grandfather.
The Nutter family ran a grocers shop in Mill End not far from the the Vine
and Rose & Crown pubs. I have found an old photo in a book by Adrienne &
Christopher Jaques, "Rickmansworth A Pictorial History". This shows the
Vine pub on the junction of the Uxbridge Road in Mill End. Opposite the
Vine is a building belonging to D. G. Horwood showing an advert for Steam
Rollers for hire. Do you know if this was this anything to do with the
Horwood family?
My mothers sister, Nell Parslow, lived a few houses away from the
Stratfulls on Denham Way many years ago.
I remember a few of them but have not seen them for several years.
By the way, your research is great and has filled in a few of the gaps in
my family history. Well done, wish I had the expertise to build my own
family web site and do the same thing!

I have a lovely poem Written for me by a Charles Miles, who was in
Wales in 1938. He wrote it on the occasion of my birth. I have been unable
to make the link with him. Maybe someone on your guest page will come to

It is nice to know that there are so many of us out there I thought
that after all my uncles and aunts had died that there was a few cousins
still floating about but did not realise that there were so many nice one

I am the son of Albert Edward Stratfull, No.94 in generation 5. My
father committed suicide in 1959 when I was 13. My mother Constance
remarried in December 1959 and I was adopted by her second husband, Thomas
William Barton. I have had no contact with the Stratfull family since my
father died.
My father Albert Edward, was born at Watford Herts on 18th November 1921.
My grandparents, Fred and Annie lived at 41 Mill Way, Bushey Herts in the
1950's
I can help with information for generations 4,5,& 6, and I will contact

would love to make contact with any other Stratfull families my Father
is Charles, his brothers were John who lived in Romford and Jim who lived
in New Zealand, and a sister Bella who lived in London.

I would like to contact my cousin Margaret her mother was Amelia
England and she lived in Australia. She was known as Milly and she died on
18 December 1975. I understand that Margaret is in contact with our cousin
Milly Johnson in Stafford, Staffs.

My grandfather was Edward Stratful from Cannock - from a large
family.(1 of his sisters, Millie emigrated to Australia). He married my
grandmother Catherine Donaldson in 1940. They had 4 children (1 died at
birth). David born 1943, Michael born c.1948 (died 2002)Pamela born 1950.
Nice to know that there is an actual history to go with the Stratful name
