Ernest Charles Kendall married Harriet Stratfull (daughter of Edward Charles and Eliza Jane Stratfull nee Franks) on 4 August 1924 at Braunston Parish Church, Daventry, Northants.

Ernest Charles Kendall was noted as a canal boatman on the date of his marriage. His father Albert Samuel Kendall was also a canal boatman.
