(ISAAC2, STORMS1)1,2 was born Bet. 1810 - 1815 in New York, and died Bet. 1849 - 1858. She married CHAUNCEY R. WOLCOTT3 September 08, 1838 in Sandusky County, Ohio, son of WILLIAM WOLCOTT and SUSAN FORDHAM. He was born 1818 in New York.Notes for PERMELIA STORMS:
Within a month of her sister Sarah's marriage to William Wolcott, Permelia married William's brother, Chauncey. One year later the couple had their first child, a daughter, Sabrina who was named for one of Permelia's sisters. Permelia & Chauncey moved to Streetsboro Township, Portage County, Ohio; probably around the same time her siblings left for Michigan. The young family are found in the 1850 census with little Sabrina and two sons, Lemuel and Newell.
Permelia died between 1850 and 1859, and Chauncey remarried to Hannah ?? (maiden name unknown) They had a son, Newton who was born in 1859. Chauncey lived in Streetsboro Township from 1850 to 1900. The youngest of his four children, Newton inherited the family farm upon Chauncey's death.
