RICKINSON FAMILY - The architect John 1853-1937 holding dog, with his three children Margaret Jane 1889-1971, William 1884-1937, and Charles John 1896-1957 nursed by John's first wife, Emma nee Beall 1857-1897.

To John's left is his brother William 1863-1938 with his wife Francis nee Bradshaw 1869-1944, and beyond is an unidentified member of the family.

A servant, Laura Jackson, is on John's right.

Back far left is granddaughter Rebecca Jane Storm 1893-1983 who married Edward Martin Granger. Her brother John b1895 is probably the one sitting in front of her.

  <<Anne Roberts nee HARRISON, descendant of Leonard Harrison b 1639 in Robin Hood's Bay, with her husband David Stanley ROBERTS who was awarded an MBE. Also present are their son, David James Roberts, and Anne's brother, Graham Harrison. The ancestral tree of Anne and Graham includes well known Bay names such as STORM, HODGSON and SKERRY.

  FOUR GENERATIONS      
    Elizabeth Ann Stainthorpe born Robin Hood's Bay 1849 married Johnson Barnard b. 1847 in 1872 in Whitby Wesleyan Church. Here she is seated with her daughter Mary Hannah 1873-1957, who married Arthur Robertson, her grandaughter Mildred 1895-1990, who married Norman Spencer Gough, and her two great grandchildren Milton Spencer and Norma Gough..

Elizabeth Ann's descendants settled in Orange, New South Wales, Australia

 
         
         
    .....and here is Elizabeth Ann Stainthorpe's great great grandaughter, Judith Elizabeth Curran nee Gough, with her husband, Robert Gordon Curran, and their sons Darryl James, Daniel Thomas, Michael Robert and Adam David, and her neice Emily Gough.
