The following is a transcription of a single sheet from a merchant’s account ledger in Ogdensburgh NY from 1808.  It covers two days of transactions.  May 18th, 1808 was on one side of the paper and May 21st, 1808 was on the other.  The document lists both credits and debits and seems to be in pounds/shilling/pence since there are three columns (and that seems to be how the math works out).  There are also some references with ‘$’ marks, so who knows.  I tried to transcribe it as I saw it.
