Mrs. William Smith
Mrs. Elizabeth M. , wife of William Smith,
died about 11 last evening at her home in Clinton
Street after a long illness with cancer of the
stomach. She was 53 years old.
Mrs. Smith was the daughter of Samuel and Lucinda
Washburn Honeycomb. She has lived in this village with her husband
for nine years. Mrs. Smith was of a genial sunny disposition and the
Christian fortitude and patience which she displayed during her long illness
will ever remain as an example and influence in the memory of all who knew
her. The community extends its sincerest sympathy to the husband and
children in their sad bereavement.
Besides her husband, four daughters, all of this place,
