Mrs. William Smith

Mrs. Elizabeth M. , wife of William Smith, died about 11 last evening at her home in Clinton Street after a long illness with cancer of the stomach.  She was 53 years old.

Mrs. Smith was the daughter of Samuel and Lucinda Washburn Honeycomb.  She has lived in this village with her husband for nine years.  Mrs. Smith was of a genial sunny disposition and the Christian fortitude and patience which she displayed during her long illness will ever remain as an example and influence in the memory of all who knew her.  The community extends its sincerest sympathy to the husband and children in their sad bereavement.

Besides her husband, four daughters, all of this place, survive.

The funeral will be held from the home Friday, Rev. J. A. Dickson officiating and interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
